I'm now officially on staff at a recording studio, just over two years after leaving programming.
I'm so excited, and I just can't fight it.
Thank you for your time. You may go about your business. _________________ "Kick a hole in the speaker, pull the plug, then I jet."

Grats Naailo. What's the name of the studio? If it's local, I may have heard of it. _________________ |

I'm over at Omega Studios. Easily the biggest in the area (we've got a room that can handle a 65 piece orchestra), and I'd say only Inner Ear is more well known around here (even though their setup is ancient).
Thanks guys. _________________ "Kick a hole in the speaker, pull the plug, then I jet."

Well done! congrats
i like recording studios... there's one here that has a big star in the middle of the huge, round, domed room- it's the only spot in that room that has any echo at all... Tradition says one must go 'Hellooooo, baaaaaby!" while standing on that spot, since it's where The Big Bopper stood when he sang "Chantilly Lace".
so, of course, I did... lol _________________

Rain Dogs, and I look up Naailo to see what random post I can see him on, because he is the one that turned me on to Waits... see if he's still about, and 2 years ago, he's referenced a -classic- studio -Inner Ear- the studio of Fugazi. Dissed it straight up, no regrets - he's got the orchestras my friends . No idea if this forum is still running, but hope he's still doing good, and the recording business is still good. _________________ http://www.myspace.com/euleridentity |
