Like Oaklief used to do, I plan on copying pertinent patch notes, and then making my own comments on them
from a ranger's perspective. I won't normally copy the entire patch notes (you can see them at the Camelot
Herald if you wish). I will also not put up this page until the notes go live (because so many things can
change in testing.
- - Added extended delve descriptions for all spells.
Good for when we (hopefully) get better spells.
- We've decided to remove some of the extra steps required in crafting items. The purpose of these changes is not to decrease the overall concept of time, or coin, that goes into these tradeskills, but to remove some of the extra possible frustration of the added layers that they create.
Also, you will notice that most of the recipes in Weaponcraft, Armorcraft, Tailoring, and Fletching will now show you the level of the item that is created from said recipe, when you delve them. As we continue moving forward, we will continue trying to add more useful information to help the crafter do his job.
While rangers seem to be the poorest of the classes out there, anything to help crafting is a blessing.
- - Added level values to most of the recipes in Weaponcraft, Armorcraft, Tailoring, and Fletching for all three realms.
- Added Woodworking recipes that allows for the ability to create smaller, or larger, versions of various pieces of furniture for housing.
More help for crafting, and since Woodworking tends to go with Fletching, maybe rangers can get jobs as interior
decorators! Next up is an episode of "Trading Places"!
Not much from this patch. I hope to get back and do the ones for 1.62 as soon as I get a chance. Since that one was such a big
change for us! Anyways, keep your eyes on these pages.
